Research and proposal development for a children's charityJune 2013 - present (2024): working on an ad-hoc basis, I provide an extra pair of fundraising hands to the Director, raising funds for core costs, projects, evaluations, resources and dissemination, predominantly from trusts and foundations (e.g. The John Ellerman Foundation, Education Endowment Foundation, The Rayne Foundation, The Souter Charitable Trust) but also through e.g. Radio 4 Appeal and The Big Give.
Research and proposal development for a national learning disabilities charity
June 2016 - October 2017: researching donors and submitting proposals for an innovative project to reduce loneliness and isolation in adults with learning disabilities. This included securing £179,000 from the Big Lottery Fund over three years.
Developing a proposal for an international healthcare charityOctober 2015: three days spent developing a proposal template for a particular project, that could then be adapted for various donors, according to their requirements.

Research and proposal development for a national cancer charityNovember 2022 - present (2024): working one day a week, researching donors to fund research and patient support projects and drafting proposals. Funds secured from trusts and pharmaceutical companies.
Research and proposal development for a local cancer support centre
June 2018 - July 2023: working one day a week, I researched donors for core and project costs and draft proposals for submission to secure c.£140,00 per year. Grants secured from funders including the National Lottery Community Fund (Reaching Communities), Global's Make Some Noise, The Garfield Weston Foundation, Postcode Community Trust and The Will Charitable Trust.
